Survey Assistant Position 

(Full time position)

Mainelli, Wagner & Associates is a growing civil engineering firm in search of qualified individuals to add to our engineering survey department. Our reputation in the local construction industry is second to none. We are seeking individuals that will sustain our established reputation.

Candidates should be honest, hard working, team players that are willing to learn. Candidate will be assisting a party chief in various field surveying and construction staking activities.

Qualifications:

• Previous surveying experience is preferred, but not required

• Must be willing to travel during the work week with the occasional overnight travel

• Must be flexible with workload demands including overtime hours

• Must be willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrain

• Knowledge of GPS equipment and Total Stations preferred

• Ability of read and interpret construction plans preferred

• Valid drivers license required

 

Construction Management/
Engineering
 

(Full and Part-time positions available)

Mainelli Wagner & Associates is a growing civil engineering firm in search of qualified individuals to add to our construction inspection department. Our reputation in the local engineering and construction industries is second to none. We are seeking individuals that will sustain our established reputation.

Candidates should be honest, hardworking, team players that are capable of multitasking and excited about learning. Daily duties may include: quality control inspection and documentation on a variety of utility, bridge, and roadway related construction projects.

Applicants who possess experience and knowledge of the following skills are encouraged to apply:

• Coordination of construction activities on multiple projects

• Research data and maintain accurate records

• Knowledge of concrete and/or common construction related materials

• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications

• Make logical decisions to ensure quality control

A degree in construction management or engineering is preferred, but not mandatory. Students are welcome to apply; we will work around your schedule and provide a full-time job during summer and/or holidays. Training or experience in any business or construction related discipline will be considered. A valid driver’s license is required; employees may be required to travel.

 

Bridge design engineer

(Full time position)

Mainelli Wagner & Associates is a growing civil engineering firm in search of a bridge design engineer in Lincoln, Nebraska. Our reputation in the local engineering and construction industries is second to none, and we are seeking individuals that will help us grow, while maintaining that reputation.

Candidates should be honest, hard-working, team players that are capable of multi-tasking and learning new things. Daily duties may include: project and staff management; customer relations; complete plan development and design on a variety of bridge and roadway improvement projects.

Applicants who possess experience and knowledge of the following skills are encouraged to apply:

• Design analysis and calculations to support a variety of bridge designs

• Structural plan and detail development for various types of bridges

• Coordination with owners, engineers, and construction managers

• Experience with MicroStation desirable

• Adhere to a strict quality control requirements

Applicants should possess a BS or MS degree in civil engineering, and 3 or more years of experience in bridge design. Additionally, applicants should be a licensed Professional Engineer in Nebraska, or have to ability to become licensed within 6-months. A valid driver’s license is required; employees may be required to travel.

 

Roadway Design Engineer

(Full time position)

Mainelli Wagner & Associates is a growing civil engineering firm in search of a roadway design engineer in Lincoln, Nebraska. Our reputation in the local engineering and construction industries is second to none, and we are seeking individuals that will help us grow, while maintaining that reputation.

Candidates should be honest, hard-working, team players that are capable of multi-tasking and learning new things. Daily duties may include: project and staff management; customer relations; complete plan development and design on a variety of land development, roadway, and bridge related projects.

Applicants who possess experience and knowledge of the following skills are encouraged to apply:

• Design analysis and calculations to support a variety of roadway projects

• Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of roadway drainage structures

• Coordination with owners, engineers, and construction managers

• Experience with MicroStation desirable

• Adhere to a strict quality control requirements
